What to check on a pre-owned Lady Dior

The Lady Dior's cannage quilting is inspired by the Napoleon III chairs used at Christian Dior's first show, and its dangling D.I.O.R. charms are the first thing to inspect: the gold or silver finish should be even, with no chips. Lambskin versions are soft and luxurious but show marks at the corners and along the top handles, so look closely there. Inside, Dior bags from the 2000s onward carry a date code in the 00-XX-0000 format.
