Layaway Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the Collector Edit Layaway program. By placing a layaway order you agree to the terms below. Questions? Email contact@collectoredit.com.

1. The program

Layaway lets you reserve an item and pay its full price over time, with no fees and no interest. The item is held for you and removed from sale once your layaway is active.

2. Deposit

A non-refundable (after the cancellation window in Section 6) deposit of 30% of the item price is due at checkout. Enter code LAYAWAY at checkout to pay your deposit and start your plan.

3. Term & payments

You have 60 calendar days from your deposit date to pay the remaining balance in full.
After your deposit we email a secure private payment link for your order. There is no fixed schedule - pay any amount, any time, before your deadline.
Minimum amount per payment: $25 for orders under $500, $50 for orders $500-$1,500, and $100 for orders over $1,500 (or your full remaining balance, whichever is less).
There are no fees or interest. You pay only the item's listed price.

4. Eligibility

Layaway is available on any in-stock item. It cannot be combined with other promotional codes, discounts, or offers. One active layaway plan may be limited per customer at our discretion.

5. Shipping

Your order ships within 1-2 business days after your balance is paid in full and payment has cleared.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel for a full refund within 5 days of placing your deposit, for any reason.
After 5 days, all payments (including the deposit) are non-refundable.

7. Missed deadline & forfeiture

If your balance is not paid in full by the 60-day deadline (plus a short grace period), your order is automatically cancelled, the item is returned to inventory for sale, and all payments made are forfeited. We send courtesy reminders before your deadline; if you need help, contact us before the deadline.
