Hermès Chaîne d'Ancre Jewelry

The Hermès Chaîne d'Ancre was designed in 1938 by Robert Dumas, inspired by the anchor chain of a ship. Its oval links are now one of the house's most recognisable jewellery designs, made mostly in sterling silver as bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings.

Bracelets come in several link sizes, from the bold GM to finer PM versions, so check the size and length in each listing. Sterling silver can be polished back to a bright finish, but look closely at the clasp, where wear shows first, and at the hallmarks and Hermès stamp. Every piece is inspected and graded on our Condition Guide and covered by our Authenticity Guarantee.
