Louis Vuitton Speedy

The Louis Vuitton Speedy is the house's most enduring everyday bag. Introduced in 1930 as the Express and renamed to capture the pace of modern travel, it was famously made in a smaller 25cm size for Audrey Hepburn in 1965. Today it is one of the most-traded bags in pre-owned luxury.

What to check on a pre-owned Speedy

The rolled vachetta handles and the leather tabs at each end take the most wear, so look for darkening and cracking there. Check the zip runs smoothly, the padlock and key are included if you want them, and the interior is free of stains.
